Payment Methods

The billing methods Hostna supports, how payments are handled, and where invoices and renewal details live inside your Client Area account at any time.

How an order becomes an invoice, and how that invoice is settled.

How ordering works

Placing an order creates an invoice in your Client Area. The invoice shows the exact configuration, the billing period, and the total before anything is charged. The service is activated once payment is confirmed.

Currency and tax

All prices are published and invoiced in euro (EUR). Displayed prices exclude taxes that may apply in your country; the applicable tax is shown before payment, and appears as a separate line on the invoice.

Paying an invoice

Every invoice can be settled by bank transfer. When the invoice is issued, the Client Area shows the payment instructions for it, and the same instructions are attached to the invoice email. Quote the invoice number so the payment can be matched automatically.

Payment is confirmed by Hostna once it clears. Activation follows confirmation — for shared, WordPress, email, and reseller plans this is quick; dedicated servers and custom configurations may need an additional provisioning window, which the order flow states before payment.

If an instruction is unclear, or a payment has been sent but not yet reflected on the invoice, open a ticket from the Client Area with the invoice number and we will reconcile it.

Card and wallet payments

Additional online payment methods are being enabled. Until they appear as an option at checkout they are not available, and we would rather say so here than list a method the checkout cannot actually take.

Renewals

Recurring services are invoiced in advance of the period they cover, so there is time to settle the invoice before the current period ends. Renewal notices go to the email address on the account — keep it current, because a lapsed invoice suspends the service.

Failed and late payments

An unpaid invoice past its due date results in a suspension notice before anything is switched off. A suspended service and its data are retained for a reasonable period, so settling the invoice restores it. See Cancellation & Refunds for what happens after that.

Invoices and records

Every invoice stays available in the Client Area and can be downloaded as a PDF. Company name, address, and VAT number belong on your account profile — they are taken from there at the moment the invoice is issued, so add them before ordering if you need them printed.

Refunds

What is refundable and within what window is set out on the Cancellation & Refunds page.
