Supervisory authority

Offering telemedia and hosting services in Germany does not require a licence, so there is no professional supervisory authority within the meaning of § 5 (1) no. 3 DDG.

Point of contact under the Digital Services Act

For authorities, and for recipients of the service, the single point of contact is abuse@hostna.com. Communication is accepted in German and in English. Notices about unlawful content are handled through the procedure described in the Abuse and Notice-and-Action policy.

Consumer dispute resolution

The European Commission shut down its Online Dispute Resolution platform on 20 July 2025, so the link previously required by Art. 14 (1) ODR Regulation no longer exists and is no longer required.

We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§ 36 (1) no. 1 VSBG).

Liability for content

As a service provider we are responsible for our own content on these pages under general law. We are not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information, or to investigate circumstances that indicate unlawful activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information under general law remain unaffected; liability in that respect begins only from the point at which a concrete infringement becomes known.

Our pages contain links to external websites over whose content we have no control. The respective provider is always responsible for the content of a linked page. Linked pages were checked for apparent illegality at the time of linking. Permanent monitoring without concrete evidence of an infringement is not reasonable; on becoming aware of an infringement we remove such links without delay.
