Migration fees exist to make leaving expensive. We would rather have the customer. The work is bounded — a website is files and a database, and we do this often enough that it is routine — so it is included on eligible plans instead of billed by the quarter hour.

The whole site, not just the files
A half-migrated site is worse than none. Everything that makes the site work comes across together, and we check it against the original before anyone changes a nameserver.

Eligibility: standard websites on ordinary hosting plans. A site that needs a custom stack, or a server we cannot get access to, may need a quote first — we will say so before starting, never after.
