Two equally valid ways to cancel: inside your Control Center, or right here without logging in. Either way, you get a confirmation with the date and time your notice arrived. Deutsche Fassung: „Deutsche Fassung" oben wählen.

The fastest route: your Control Center

If you can sign in, cancelling inside the Control Center is the quickest attributable route: open the service, choose cancel, done — the notice is filed through this same page behind the scenes, so it carries the same reference and the same receipt, tied to your account automatically.

This public page exists alongside it because German law (§ 312k BGB) guarantees consumers a cancellation route that never requires a login. Both routes are equally valid; use whichever is easier for you.

Cancel without logging in

1. Fill in the form below so we can attribute the cancellation: your name, the email address on the account, and which service you are cancelling.
2. Choose ordinary cancellation (to the next possible date, or a date you name) or extraordinary cancellation for cause, and press "Cancel now / Jetzt kündigen".
3. You immediately see a confirmation on screen and receive one by email, with the date and time your notice arrived (§ 312k (3) BGB). We then confirm the contract concerned and the date it ends, in text form.

No account, no login, no verification hurdle — if you can identify the contract, we can process the notice.

When it takes effect

Ordinary cancellation ends the contract at the next possible date: at the end of the initial term you selected, or — once the contract has renewed and runs for an indefinite period — one month after your notice, with prepaid time after that date credited. Section 6 of the Terms of Service has the detail. If you name a later date, we use yours.

Extraordinary cancellation for good cause takes effect as the law provides; describe the cause in the form so it can be assessed.

Domains are not cancelled mid-registration: a domain simply is not renewed at the end of its registration period. The Domain Registration Terms explain expiry and transfer instead.

When a contract ends, the service and the data on it are deleted. Export what you need first — the Data Act section of the Terms describes what you can take with you and how.
